We need cool holiday weaponry, like this
If we had things like that, rather than candy cane weapons, that actually had good stats...oh man, it would be so awesome.
I wish Anet would add drops like this for the events along-side the candy cane / peppermint weapons. It would be fun to have weapons like this to break out during the holidays.

Looks like a pencil
Actually, I always thought it would be cool if apart from the headpiece there was a full armour set for the holidays, although I can't see it happening anytime...

They do need a little more diversity in the festive weapons, make them a little more original between each weapon than the standard candy canes, since they carry the same designs.
Your drawings of the design for a Paragon Spear is well thought out, kind of like throwing a Christmas tree. When it comes to pulling the tree down after Christmas, I always get the urge to throw it at someone.
The only huge dissappointment I do have with the Winter's Day weapons are that they don't have a high damage, and because of that I would never use it as you only really see the weapons during combat. And I don't have a desire to run out with a 10-10 candy cane staff when I can have my max damage bow, you know? Even if it does look festive and cool.
